Helpful information on booking a Campus Helper


We charge $32.00 per hour per helper. If you need a second Helper, simply book another Helper.

  • What is Campus Hands?
    CH connects customers with friendly background checked workers that can help with house chores!
  • Who are the Campus Hands?
    Campus Hands are composed of college students and other non college students. All workers must pass a background check, screening process, and undergo training before starting their probation period. They are hardworking, reliable, and dedicated to helping the community. Some are currently in school, while others have already graduated!
  • How can I book a Campus Hand?
    To book a Campus Hand please go to campushands.com/booking, or click 'booking' on the top of this page. Submit a booking request and once your request was picked up from a worker we will send you an email confirmation! To learn more about our company policies, please review our Terms of Service.
  • What services do you offer?
    CH provides help with house chores. This covers a wide range of services both inside and outside the home. A few jobs we have done in the past include moving assistance, weeding garden beds, and organizing items inside. CH does not provide any materials or equipment. All customers are expected to have the needed materials on hand and ready for the worker. Please review our Terms of Service if you need additional information!
  • How does Campus Hands benefit students and the community?
    CH has reduced its hourly rate to $32.00 per hour per student. This wage allows the community to reach out and connect with quality contractors for a fraction of the cost! Additionally, we have provided hundreds of jobs to the student community around campus at our UW-Madison chapter, and continue to grow around BIG10 campuses!
  • What areas do you serve?
    Currently, Campus Hands only has students and other contracted workers on-hand in Madison, WI (within a 10 mile radius)
  • How much does it cost to book Campus Hands?
    $32.00 per hour per person. It cost $0.00 to book, and a card is only required to ensure that our workers get paid after the job is completed! Invoices are required to be paid in full within 24 hours of job completion. For more information please review our Terms of Service!
  • How does payment work?
    You have no initial payment to make when booking a helper. Your helper will clock in when they start the job, and when the finish they will clock out. This timesheet is then converted into an invoice and emailed to you, the clients email address on file. Payment is required in full within 24 hours of this email being sent. Failure to pay within this time-frame will result in your card on file being charged. Most debit and credit cards are accepted. Still have a question? Please review our Terms of Service!
  • Do I have to pay a deposit?
    Campus Hands does not require a down payment to book a service.
  • Are there any additional fees or charges?
    No. We charge $32.00 per hour per helper. You are only charged for the hours they work, not the entire 6-hour slot reserved during your initial booking. We do have a cancellation fee and no show fee that is highlighted in our ToS policy. Please review our Terms of Service!
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept major credit cards and online payment options directly through our booking system. You must pay this through our system. Please review our Terms of Service!
  • Do you offer discounts for recurring services?
    Yes. CH provides discount codes to recurring customers and will send custom emails randomly to existing customers for a deal on their next service!
  • How do I book a Campus Hand?
    You can book directly through our website under 'booking' - campushands.com/booking Once your service request is submitted, it will be reviewed, and sent to our worker portal. We will send you a confirmation email once a student has picked up your request!
  • How far in advance should I schedule a service?
    We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day bookings are offered within a 4 hour notice, but you may not receive a confirmation email until a worker can pick it up!
  • Is there a minimum number of hours required for booking?
    1-hour minimum.
  • Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
    Yes, but waiting to long can make you subject to penalty. 24 hour or more notice == no penalty 2-23 hours from scheduled job == $15.00 fee <2 hours notice from schedule job OR no response // unprepared for worker == $50.00 fee Please review our Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy.
  • Do you provide same-day service?
    Yes! Campus Hands can provide you a service within 4 hours. However, this relies on our worker pool availability.
  • Can I book more than one Campus Hand for a job?
    Absolutely! Simply book a helper two times on our booking page! This submits two separate requests to our workers. You will be charged $32/hr per worker. Booking page: campushands.com/booking
  • What happens if I'm not satisfied with the service?
    Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not happy with the service, please contact us within 24 hours, and we’ll work to resolve the issue. Please report to info@campushands.com
  • Are your Campus Hands trustworthy?
    All of our workers undergo and pass a background check, following an extensive screening. After this, they go through our onboarding and training process. Lastly, a large percentage of our helpers are students!
  • What is your cancellation and refund policy?
    Please give us a 24 hour or more notice on any rescheduling or cancelling. We have a detailed answer to this under our cancellation policy.
  • How do you handle special requests or tasks?
    Special requests can be added during the booking process, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. On your service request form there is a "special requests" category. Here is a link: campushands.com/booking
  • Do you offer refunds?
    If a helper goes and helps you do a job, you must pay for that workers labor. That being said, if a recent service was subpar, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team at info@campushands.com

  • What should I do if I have an issue during a job?
    Please email info@campushands.com if you have any complaints with your Campus Hand (s). For urgent matters, please email us and include "Urgent" in the subject line for a faster response.
  • What if my service area isn’t listed on your website?
    Contact us, and we’ll let you know if we can accommodate your location or plan an expansion in your area. Email: info@campushands.com
  • How quickly will I get a response to my inquiry?
    Within 24-72 hours.

All Helpers must pass a background check prior to onboarding with us. This ensures customer safety and reduces the risk for a bad experience.
